Fitness Boot Camp
Increase fitness, improve stamina, enhance your sports performance, lose weight and make visible changes to your body shape - fitness boot camp can help you achieve all of these things.
Clients who attend a fitness boot camp have varying ambitions: some want to kick-start training for a half marathon, others want to regain the healthy lifestyle they once enjoyed or build on their current level of fitness. Whatever your goals, BODY fit will boost your motivation, optimise your efforts and drive you towards achieving the very best results possible. BODY fit is a tough week, but it is client focussed and tailored to individual needs - we are happy to discuss your fitness goals with you before you attend to ensure you get the most out of the week. Because BODY fit fitness boot camp is targeted at people who already exercise, who want to push themselves and maximise results, it is one of the most challenging fitness boot camps around.
Diet, lifestyle and goals will be discussed prior to boot camp to determine whether or not you want to lose weight in addition to gaining fitness, and to discuss optimising your diet for the week of hard work that lies ahead. Our boot camp nutritionist will also work with you to create a bespoke nutrition plan for you to take away.
Unlike many other fitness boot camps that apply a one size fits all model, our fitness boot camp tailors exercise sessions to meet your fitness needs - every session you do will be beneficial to your specific fitness goals. While some exercise sessions such as boxing themed circuits or the hike in the Pentland hills will include clients from the weight loss group (BODY slim) and the toning group (BODY sculpt), the itinerary for the BODY fit group will ensure BODY fit clients undertake more high intensity training than either of these groups, thus maximising the improvement in your fitness. Dividing the boot camp into these groups also ensures that clients who are already very fit will not be held back from achieving their desired goals and instead will be encouraged to push further and harder than before with the support, motivation and mentoring of a military fitness instructor who will be the BODY fit coach for the week.

High Intensity Training
Hard training sessions where individuals are working at their maximum level. The biggest improvements in stamina, cardiovascular health and energy expenditure result from this type of training. Clients should ideally already be exercising frequently, as participating in high intensity training if usually leading a sedentary lifestyle can increase the risk of injury. High intensity sessions will include sport-specific skills and SPEED, AGILITY and QUICKNESSS (SAQ) methods of training, learning how these can be used to improve clients' overall performance, either in running or in sport. Enhance Body Boot Camp's personal trainer has expert knowledge in this area, and has helped many top rugby and football teams with this. You will struggle to find this extent of experience and expertise anywhere else!

Strength and Resistance Training
This type of training is required to further performance and maximise progress towards goals - in other words, it allows the BODY fit client to continue to train hard while reducing their risk of injury by increasing strength and core stability. This training will take the form of a variety of circuits. You will become very familar with many methods of resistance training - so you can return home to the gym confident that you know what you're doing in the weights bay!

Low Intensity Training
This includes sessions such as the day-long walk over the Pentland Hills or Brecon Beacons, and gives the BODY fit clients' bodies time to recover from their high intensity training, while the hilly parts of the walk mean that the clients' cardiovascular fitness continues to improve. This is also a great fat burner after increasing your metabolism for the last 2 days! Then recover at the swimming pool and spa, have a sauna, jacuzzi or even pamper yourself with a sports massage or luxury treatment!
